WARRIORS REMEMBERED is a 240-page, 11½" x 11½" hard cover coffee-table format photo documentary of Vietnam Veterans Memorials from all 50 states with stories of their significant features, locations and the motivation and struggle faced by those who built them. It highlights 100 memorials and their creators, and shares some of each memorial's subtle details. WARRIORS REMEMBERED is both a travel log and a documentary. It mattered not what politicians argued. It mattered not what history would reveal. We had no expectation but to serve where duty called us. We asked for no reward except a nation's thanks. Warriors Remembered

Warriors Remembered is a wonderful and heartfelt gift for any Vietnam Veteran. I bought this book for my father's birthday. He is a Vietnam Vet and has a small collection of very unique items. I wanted my dad to have something very special to add to his collection - something that he would enjoy and that would have lasting value to him. He loved this book so much that he couldn't stop reading it until he had gone through all of the memorials and their descriptions. The fact that this book was written by a fellow Veteran made this gift even more special. I'm very happy I bought this for him. I am so proud of my father's service and this book was a perfect way to communicate that.Product details

Warriors Remembered Vietnam Veterans Welcome Home Vietnam Veteran Memorials from 50 states Albert J Nahas 9781934922293 Books Reviews
Warriors Remembered is an excellent chronicle of the many Vietnam memorials across the country, many of which would have otherwise remained undiscovered by those of us who care. Thanks to Col. Nahas for his perseverence in bringing this to print and for his fine narration - truly written from the heart.
As a Vietnam Veteran I find this book to be very poignant and the quality to be of the highest order. I'm sure in my travels I have passed locations where I would have visited the Memorial had I known of its existence. I highly recommend this publication to all who served in Vietnam and were in the U.S. Military Service during the Vietnam era.
I had purchased this book for my brother, a Vietnam Veteran, and found it to be quite moving. I'd seen the Colonel's TV interview and was so pleased that he chose to do such nationwide research to remember the Warriors. He did a superior job!
Many thanks from all who will enjoy the fruits of his labor.
This book is a great testament to the people of this country who put up memorials to Vietnam Veterans. It's a "MUST SEE" as far as I'm concerned. I bought this book for my husband who is a Vietnam Vet. It's one of many I've bought for him, but I think think it's the most HEALING of all.
My husband is a Vietnam veteran and I gave this book to him for his birthday. He is in awe of it! I could not have gotten him a better book.
This book was a gift to my Father in Law who is a Vietnam Vet. He and his wife enjoy travelling around the U.S. and seeing the sights so this book was right up their alley. I was worried that he may already have this book because they go to reunions and events all the time but he said he hadn't seen this book yet and he loves it. The seller gets a five star rating as well - Great communication and a wonderful book.
This is a "must purchase" for Vietnam Veterans who came home to an angry (angry at our war weary troops no less!), ungrateful nation spurred on by the vitriol of the media (led, of course, by the New York Times) and many key figures in one of our two political parties. It will remind each vet that that there was a silent majority (silent only because there was largely no venue for them to be heard) of Americans who did care and who care even more to this very day. I do notice that more and more people express their gratitude for our service and I think it is awareness, through things like this book, that is the stimulus for this awareness. Of course, at a more visceral level, most vets fought for each other more than even their country, at least in my view.
Our peers who did not go to war are very often clueless about it. My own wife says she doesn't remember anything about the war except for the protests, having been a student through a large part of it. This tribute is a good way to gain some understanding of the war and particularly the terrible human toll. It is a great tribute and in my view, shows the way that a more grateful nation is trying to make up for its past sins. The writeups and the photography are excellent. In short, well done and much appreciated.
